About Us

The Music Workshop Company was set up in September 2002, since that time we have supplied projects to schools and community groups all over England. We have worked with over 7,000 participants since this time from toddlers to grandparents.

The Music Workshop Company is administrated from an office in Hertfordshire, but we work with a wide range of musicians based all over the UK. All the Music Workshop Company musicians are professional music facilitators or workshop leaders. Many of our musicians also teach and perform at the highest levels as soloists, with their own ensembles, in recording sessions and with top orchestras.

All our musicians have the relevant CRB / Police checks and are experienced at working with a wide range of participants, ensuring that everyone within the group feels comfortable participating to a level suitable for them.

We have supplied projects to Primary schools, Secondary Schools, Young Offenders institutes, Youth Clubs, Event Organisers, PR companies, Amateur choirs, Leisure Centres, Hospitals, Museums and Summer Schools.

We have supplied workshops to support G.C.S.E. and A-Level courses, for Arts weeks and Multi-cultural weeks, to supplement the National Curriculum, for Christmas parties, for festivals, for inset days, for drama projects, for conferences, for training days and careers days.

Fully inclusive prices - means the price you are quoted is fully inclusive - including the musician's time (planning, set up and workshop time), travel, use of instruments where supplied by the musicians and administration costs.

Added value - means we can end the workshop with a performance to other students, parents and / or local media.

Reliable - means if a musician is unable to lead the workshop at short notice (eg due to illness) we will aim to send another workshop leader in their place to supply a workshop as close as possible to the one booked - this ensures that the participants are not disappointed by a last minute cancellation.

Simple - means one phone call or email gives you access to a wide range of musical experiences.

Peace of mind - means all our musicains are CRB (Police) checked.

Memorable - means workshop can be recorded for your records or for your promotional material - photographs / audio / video.
