Children's Parties and Events

The Music Workshop Company offers a range of activities suitable for children's parties and events from birthday party entertainment through to introducing the children to World Music in a structured way. All of our events are suitable for mixed abilities and no musical knowledge or experience is necessary to join in the fun.

Prices start from just £310 and include travel, use of instruments (where supplied by the musicians) and administration costs. In addition, we can also supply party bags containing musical instruments for a small additional cost per attendee.

When booking your Children's Event or Party, be assured that all of our musicians throughout the UK have been CRB checked, and all workshops can be recorded - photographed / videoed / audio recorded should you wish. Children's Birthday Parties: a great fun and unusual entertainment programme for birthdays of children of all ages

Children's Action songs: A singing and percussion based activity based on nursery rhymes and action songs for children

Children's Disco: A disco presented by a music workshop leader - who will demonstrate dance moves and encourage all the children to take part

African Drummers: A chance to try instruments from Africa and play rhythms from across the Continent

Latin American Percussion: Children get the chance to take part in a Samba band

Cuban Percussion: Children get the chance to play the instruments and rhythms of Cuba

World Percussion: Children get the chance to try instruments from around the World

Junk Percussion: Children get the chance to explore the sounds made by different materials such as saucepans and dustbins
