Music Education Expo 2013

We had a really enjoyable and busy time at the Expo, meeting customers and friends and making lots of new contacts.  To those who stopped by our stand, thank you!  We couldn't do it without you.

Grace's Space - World Percussion for Charity Launch

Thank you so much, we were delighted with our Rhythms from Around the World workshop .... It was a great way to break the ice and begin this exciting new chapter at Grace's Space. I'm sure you'll be hearing from us again in the future. Through the launch we were able to start building a rapport with the children and we got some very good feedback from parents, helping us to plan and structure future sessions.

Fairchildes Primary School - Samba Workshop

The workshop leader was brilliant and so enthusiastic! We had a great afternoon. The leader really worked our Gifted & Talented pupils and they enjoyed every minute of it; they were really stretched.  We would definitely recommend The Music Workshop Company to others.

Music Learning Live 13-14 March 2012

The Music Workshop Company has spent the last 2 days at Music Learning Live 2012.  We had a great event and came away having met current and hopefully some new customers, as well as meeting new contacts in the industry, so well worth it.

The lucky winner of our Prize Draw was Bensham Manor School, who have won a Free Workshop of their choice.  Congratulations!  Everyone who entered and signed up for our mailing list is entitled to 10% discount on any workshop booked before the end of this academic year (2011/12).

RSA Insurance Group

" We wanted something to get everyone energised and excited – and the quick 20 minute warm up really did this... A reliable company that delivered what they said they would."

Esther Holt, RSA Insurance Group, February 2011

Nelson Playscheme

The children enjoyed using the ‘foreign’ instruments and exploring how they could make music with them.  They were allowed to go about it in their own way, as the session was less structured than it would have been in a formal education setting which matched the environment we were in. The music leader was very knowledgeable and very patient with the kids … enjoyable, satisfying and informative.

Kids Company

Kids CompanyWe (Kids Company) have used the Music Workshop Company on many occasions this year to run workshops in Primary Schools that we work in and have been delighted with the service they provide.  They are an extremely professional and efficient organisation and I have always been most impressed by the workshop leaders' flexibility and enthusiastic attitude when leading the workshops.

We have had both 'World Percussion' and 'African Drumming' workshops … we have worked with ages from as young as year 1 up to year 6 and in all cases found these workshops especially effective in confidence building and team work.

Churchers College

Strike a Chord Music Project

The tutors’ approaches to teaching and learning were consistently supportive with our project ethos and style of working with the young people. The diversity of exercises offered learning for the whole group, ensuring everyone was involved and focused. The enthusiasm and encouragement from the tutors played a huge part in this … fantastic educational fun.
