Latin American Percussion/Samba

Our Samba workshops introduce students to a range of instruments and rhythm from Latin America.

The workshop leader will supply a range of instruments include the Surdo (bass drum), Tambourim (small drum), Ganza (shaker), Claves and Agogo bells (double cow bells). Students are shown how to play the instruments then build up rhythms to create a Samba band.
